We were joined by the author J. Thomas Hetrick as we went back in time and learned about how the original Saint Louis Browns Baseball club got it's start and became the Saint Louis Cardinals. Also on the call we had Jon Shine to walk us through the develop and making of Urban Chestnut Brewing Company #6 American Lager named for Stan Musial.
Ronald Pattinson makes a return visit to go back in time and learn about Pre-WW2 European Lagers. It is all about the lagers here.
Troy Taylor makes a return visit to dive under the city into the caves below the streets of Saint Louis and into the caves that were used for beer production. We were also joined by Stuart Keating from Earthbound Brewery to tell us how they are utilizing the caves under their brewery.
Chris Rahn from Stubborn German Brewery in Waterloo, IL joined us to talk about that German classic Altbier and other German beers.

Nothing but honey wine for this one. The first part of two on all things mead. From honey selection, nutrients and even dry hopping. We were joined by Ricky Klein of Groefell Meadery and Scott Kurtz of Bluewood Brewery as we dove into the world of mead making.
Matt Musial from Proximity Malts took us on a virtual tour of how grain goes from the field to malting to packaging for us. Included is we had a tasting of four homebrew beers made from Proximity malts.
